As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, you and I are mandated to bring the nations to His kingship in prayer.

- To initiate prayer projects for and prayer journeys into the nations.
- To help other ministries and believers to execute successful prayer journeys into the nations, by providing training and logistical support in whichever way possible.
- To make resources, information and research available to the body of Christ in order to empower greater success in prayer for the nations.
- To teach and train believers in Biblical prayer and intercession and to mobilise and activate believers in the important work of prayer for kingdom advancement.
In 2016 the Lord led the UPF leadership to grasp His intentions for the ministry and the ultimate fulfilment of His preordained blueprints for UPF. This includes the construction of a purpose designed building that would house many different prayer rooms, activities, ministries and projects. God supplied detailed specification and directions of how this International Prayer Hub should look like.
The first step for UPF towards the realisation of this dream is to acquire land that would be ideally situated in the city of Pretoria / Tshwane and be large enough to accommodate the facility revealed by the Spirit. Once we have acquired the site we would be able to design the Prayer Hub and launch a process towards funding the construction of the new building.
The vision is humanly impossible, but we have learnt over many years of having to travel to far flung nations for prayer that God supplies abundant resources to those who honour Him in steadfast faith and progressive obedience.

In 2012, several South African believers that have been involved in strategic prayer projects for and in the nation of France, came together to ask God what for the way forward. In the 12 years of doing strategic prayer journeys into France under the banner of UPF (United Prayer for France) God has taught us many things about the successful planning, execution and completion of prayer journeys into a foreign country.
It became clear to us as we sought the face of God that the time has come for us, not just to impact the French nation with prayer, but to take the knowledge and experience they acquired over the last decade and apply it in many other nations so that the last day harvest of souls could be released into the kingdom of God globally.
Thus United Prayer for France became Unlimited Prayer Frontiers – a network of likeminded believers. UPF is registered as Non Profit Organisation and functions as an interdenominational ministry that serves the Body of Christ at large.
UPF is convinced that prayer is the ‘Great Condition’ to the fulfilment of the ‘Great Commission’ of seeing the gospel transform nations to the uttermost parts of the earth. In Luke 10 we read how Jesus sent our His disciples and instructed them that when they arrived in the places they were sent to they had to pray so that harvest in those area could be brought into the kingdom.

We understand from this passage that before harvesters are sent out into the harvest field, believers need to go that pray for the harvest. Prayer always precedes the gospel. It is the first work that needs to be done so that the way is prepared for the harvesters, the evangelists and missionaries, that would help gather the souls into the kingdom as a fruit of kingdom intercession!
Leon and Corline Coetzee have been in full-time prayer ministry in Pretoria, since 2000 and have a passion for prayer and intercession. They have been married for 24 years and live with their three children in Pretoria East.
Their ministry is focussed on teaching and training believers in Bible based prayer and intercession. They have gained much experience and insights into praying for nations since 1998. They are founding members of UPFSA.
They believe that strategic Spirit led prayer has the ability to impact and transform nations.
