UPF and the nations
Since 2011 it became clear to the partners in UPF that God’s kingdom is focussed on nations and people groups and that we cannot claim to be investing into and establishing His kingdom if we do not prioritise these aspects of our intercessory labours.
Psalms 2:8 (NKJV)
8 Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.
Isaiah 56:7 (NKJV)
7 Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
8But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
God has graced UPF in the last years to send teams into 10 many nations of the world and we trust the Lord to increase the reach and capacity to impact many more regions of the globe. We have been able to send prayer teams into the following nations:
Belgium, Burundi, Croatia, DRC, Estonia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Kenya, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Mauritius, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand.
We are ordained by God to raise up an army able and equipped to effectively pray for the nations of the world! We invite you to invest into this vision and join this divine army!
Presently we trust God to enable us to take up our responsibility towards the nations in two ways: The first is to set up groups that would take responsibility for a specific nation and start to pray together regularly for those specific nations.
The second strategy is to raise up teams for prayer journeys to countries to pray on site with locals for the challenges faced by their nations.
The India group has been running for a few years now. Its purpose is to regularly bring believers together to pray for missionaries and believers in India that we have met during our prayer journeys undertaken to India in the last 4 years.
India is a very important nation as many of the least reached people group in the world can be found here.
If India will turn to Jesus a sixth of the world population will have the opportunity to be transformed. Come join us in prayer for this populous nation!

UPF has visited Germany recently for the second time for strategic prayer. When the prayer team returned from their prayer journey in 2019 they felt compelled to start a regular prayer meeting to pray for this important European nation.
